BroadcastAsia2016 highlights technologies in audio, film and TV

International. As consumers increasingly demand convenient and reliable access to content, anywhere, anytime and on any device, BroadcastAsia2016, which will take place from May 31 to June 3 in Singapore, will bring together the latest and most advanced technologies and solutions for OTT and cross-platform streaming services.

At the 21st version of the International Digital Multimedia & Entertainment Technology Exhibition & Conference, industry leaders and newcomers from around the world will gather, introducing game-changing products for next-generation broadcasting, including 4K/UHD, OTT/hybrid/LTE/IP/Cloud, Multi-Platform Streaming, professional audio and more.

The event for TV Everywhere! Zone will take center stage with the expectations of consumers in the region who have new challenges in mind to provide more comfortable and reliable access to content. This, combined with the proliferation of digital devices and the current changing market for always-on connectivity, means that content broadcasters are starting to look beyond television to stream and monetize their content.

"Although still at an early stage, the adoption of OTT video services is expanding rapidly and gaining popularity in Asia. As broadcasters and content providers are in the battle for viewers and looking for innovative ways to monetize their content, BroadcastAsia2016 will bring together the best industrial service providers to showcase a complete ecosystem with the latest end-to-end solutions needed to stay ahead of the curve," said Calvin Koh, Deputy Project Manager of BroadcastAsia2016.

Exhibitors at BroadcastAsia2016
BroadcastAsia is the must-attend international event in the region for the audio, television, film industries and is the launching pad for innovative technologies.

In addition to TVEverywhere! Zone, visitors will be able to pass through other themed zones, including the technology zone for film production, in which visitors can find the latest production tools and software capabilities, and the production center, where industry experts will share their knowledge and experience in the use of technology exhibited at BroadcastAsia2016.

Meanwhile, audio, which plays an important role in the broadcasting and film ecosystem, giving a production resonance to create a dramatic impact on viewers, will also be presented through its own zone: ProfessionalAudioTechnology2016. 

Conferences at BroadcastAsia2016
Beyond the exhibition, the BroadcastAsia2016 International Conference will bring together an unprecedented portfolio of the industry's top broadcast experts and influencers, to discuss evolving industry trends, discuss best business strategies and showcase unprecedented trending technologies. Attendees can expect exclusive case studies and interactive discussions over the four days of presentations.

Visitors can participate in discussions on how to secure the future of the TV company, with topical issues surrounding OTT, video delivery infrastructure, next-generation TV technologies, second screen, social TV monetization strategies, viewer data analytics applications, advanced streaming solutions, the cloud, among other topics.

Also returning at the request of the public, for the seventh consecutive year, the conferences of production of creative content. Delegates will learn key strategies to replicate the success of recognized programs in the region, acquire new tools to achieve a higher qualification and have the opportunity to exchange ideas with more than 200 key actors in the generation of content and media.

Both exhibition and conference will be held alongside CommunicAsia2016 and EnterpriseIT2016 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.
