Vidiexco and Vitec expand their relationship in parts and service

Latin America. Vidiexco, the Master Distributor for Latin America, the Caribbean and Brazil of Vitec Videcom and its prestigious brands Vinten, Sachtler, Autoscript, Autocue, LitePanels, Oconnor, Anton Bauer, among others, closed 2015 with sales and results that exceeded expectations in many of the segments and markets under its responsibility.

"We are very happy with the results and the growth that year after year we continue to have in our region," said Jose Cadavieco Jr, President of Vidiexco, "especially when considering the complicated political and / or economic situation that most of the countries of our territory have experienced during the past year."

Faced with the question of their expectations for 2016, Cadavieco reported that they will continue to provide and expand the necessary competitive advantages for the channel, which includes pricing policies and products designed for LATAM, support and local marketing for partners in their territories, in addition to a large and healthy inventory; in addition to the move made at the end of 2015 to a new distribution center in Doral-Miami, which meant an expansion of more than double the space they had in previous years.

Vitec Videocom further closes with its Master Distributor, with the signing of a service contract for its territory. Under this new agreement, Vidiexco will assume the responsibility of serving and supplying all authorized service centers, in addition to certifying and training them in the new technologies and products of all the group's brands.

Robert Boggs, Director of Services at Vitec Videocom; accompanied by  Eduardo Silva, Director of Channel Sales for the Americas of Vitec Videocom; and Marco Brea, Channel Manager for Florida and Latin America of Vitec Videocom, visited the main offices of Vidiexco in the city of Celebration-FL, to together with Irene Murray, Product Specialist and Support Engineer, and Jose Cadavieco Jr, refine the final details of what has been months of work for a logical and viable solution to the issue of guarantees and supports in Latin America, with special attention in Brazil, a territory recently added to the responsibilities of Vidiexco.

Irene Murray stressed the importance of local support in Latin America, where most of the time the export and re-import process is very expensive, tedious and sometimes impossible. "The idea is to offer our local partners the solutions and parts necessary to solve the problems and guarantees in their countries, with the added value of the language (Spanish and Portuguese), the availability of parts and spare parts at wholesale price and from our offices in Orlando."

Murray concluded that "We are Latin America, not only because we come from it, but because we understand the problems and needs of our region. And it's agreements like this that demonstrate our commitment to our represented brands, our customers and end users."
