Culture of Ecuador was recorded in three videos and 19 countries

Latin America. With the support of the Ministry of Culture of Ecuador, the production company Prosonido, toured the world with Shure to portray in three clips the experience of 100 Ecuadorian musicians, performers and singers in 19 countries; from the United States to Japan, through Switzerland and Spain, among others.

Inspired by "Playing for Change", a movement that seeks to connect the planet through music, the videos show traditional instruments and sounds, with the aim of uniting artists abroad in a single song and celebrating, in this way, the Day of the Ecuadorian Migrant.

During the trip, which lasted two months and collected the experiences of this hundred musicians, the team in charge used the Shure KSM32, Shure KSM137 and Shure KSM313 microphones and the SRH440 professional headphones. Christian Valencia, from the production company Prosonido, comments "... the equipment is very resistant and consistent in the result, regardless of whether there was rain, changes in atmospheric pressure or temperature..." Essentially, concludes Valencia, the decision to choose Shure goes through its reliability, resistance, portability and versatility. "A single microphone can serve several things, with amazing results."

One of the videos will be released by President Rafael Correa in October, and the others will be broadcast at the celebration of "Ecuadorian Migrant Day" in December 2015.

The clip for the song "Mi lindo Ecuador" shows artists in various cities in the United States, such as Los Angeles, New York, Boston and Miami, under the slogan "distances are shortened through music". Another of the records is called "De donde vengo", where singers of different styles -using Shure microphones and headphones- embody the plurality that characterizes Ecuador. The last one is entitled "A tajitos de caña".

"Only with three microphones and an adapter in the backpack we did the whole project," said Valencia, "the result, in terms of sound, is excellent, because the equipment is of high quality."
