International. The headquarters of the Ibero-American General Secretariat, SEGIB, hosted the meeting of the Programming Committee of the Ibero-American Channel: Signal that unites us. The development of this Ibero-American channel with co-productions from all the countries of the region aims to facilitate the access of the Ibero-American community to educational, cultural and scientific content.
Likewise, it aims to consolidate itself as a television channel that reflects Ibero-American society with quality and excellence productions through current and significant content that shows the culture, identity, language, geography, history and education in our societies.
During the two days of work, the Programming Committee of the Ibero-American Channel was constituted, formed by representatives of the Ibero-American Educational and Cultural Television (TEIb) cooperation program, the General Directorate of Educational Television – DGTVE, the Latin American Institute of Educational Communication – ILCE, the Ministry of Culture of Argentina through CePIA, the Ministry of Education of Cuba and the TeleEducation project – Ministry of Education of Ecuador.
The participants in the meeting are working on the viewing and evaluation of content, establishment of functions and work methodologies, as well as evaluating new production and co-production strategies of new programs. From this meeting will come a programming grid project to be submitted by the Editorial Board (composed of the members of the Intergovernmental Committee of the TEIb program), which will meet on the 28th and 29th of this month in Mexico City.
