Blackmagic present in the films of the season

International. Several products manufactured by Blackmagic Design were used in this season's most successful and anticipated feature films. Among other equipment, film cameras and the color editor Davinci Resolver.

The digital film cameras developed by the company were used in the filming of different action scenes in blockbusters such as the latest installment of the saga "Mad Max" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron". On the other hand, Fusion Studio was employed in the digital composition of action sequences in "Spies" and "Barely Lethal", while the color grading of "Tomorrowland: The World of Tomorrow" and "Magic Mike XXL" was carried out with DaVinci Resolve.

  • Joe Gawler (Harbor Picture Company) performed the color grading of "Ruth and Alex," "Magic Mike XXL" and "Ricki and the Flash" with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Cinematographer Ben Davis used several Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras to shoot the dangerous scenes of "Avengers: Age of Ultron", while Jeremy Nelson (Flash Film Works) used the tools offered by Fusion Studio for the digital composition of the images in "Spies" and "Barely Lethal".
  • Andrew Balis (Different by Design) performed the color grading of "Best of Enemies" with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Tom Poole (Company 3) performed the color grading of "The Diary of a Teenage Girl" and "Love & Mercy" with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Chad Herschberger performed the color adjustment in "A LEGO Brickumentary" with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Cinematographer John Seale employed Blackmagic Cinema Cameras for several scenes in "Mad Max: Fury Road."
  • Alex Bickel (Color Collective) performed the color grading of "Mr. Manglehorn" with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Brandon Thomas (TBD Post) colored "Results" with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Cinematographer Robbie Ryan used a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera to record bonus material on "Slow West",while Rob Pizzey (Goldcrest Post) employed DaVinci Resolve tools to carry out the color grading.
  • Luke Cahill (Different by Design) made the color grading of "Mandarins" with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Andrew Balis (Wildfire Finishing) performed color correction on "The Nightmare" with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Aaron Peak (Wildfire Finishing) adjusted the color in "The Overnight" with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Stephen Nakamura (Company 3) colored "Tomorrowland: The World of Tomorrow" with DaVinci Resolve.
