Brazil. Arri announced the initial phase of the implementation of a camera technical service for Latin America. This company will open a subsidiary in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in the third quarter of 2015, which will offer service and maintenance of all Arri camera products.
Arri Brasil, located on Avenida Ibirapuera in Moema, in downtown Sao Paulo, will offer full service for the full range of Arri cameras and accessories. It will function as a service center and offer comprehensive technical support for all Arri camera models – including the Alexa, Alexa XT and the Amira, Alexa SXT and Alexa Mini cameras, which offer the new 4K recording modes.
This center is expected to provide camera maintenance, software updates, warranty and out-of-warranty repairs as well as training and support for all camera products and accessories.
Your Technical Service Director will be Mario Jannini, a Brazilian with a long experience in the company and who is closely familiar with the growing market in his country, as well as with the technical aspects of all Arri camera products.
For Arri, Latin America is a continuously growing market. With the opening of this new subsidiary and with the launch of its website in Portuguese and Spanish, it continues to show its support and commitment to the region. Maintenance and service procedures can now be performed in the country by properly trained technicians without the need to ship the equipment abroad.
This will keep costs low and offer quick camera operating solutions, not only for customers in Brazil but also for customers in neighboring countries.
