Latin America. Tedial is a Spanish company dedicated to the creation of MAM systems, providing solutions for storage and delivery of audio and video, which from Argentina is reaching all of Latin America.
Nigel Stoddart, Sales Director for Latin America at Tedial, told TVyVideo that one of the advantages of the company's systems is that they are created based on standards that facilitate the work of content generating companies, because they allow multiple formats and are available in several languages. Currently in the region, its largest presence is in Mexico and Brazil, but he stressed that in all countries there are needs for MAM systems and they want to supply them with their developments.
To serve its customers in Latin America, Tedial has a group led by Nigel Stoddart, who is based in Argentina and a support team in Mexico. In addition, he commented that the company being Spanish, gives a higher level of support for customers in the region.
On the subject of monetizing previously recorded content and taking advantage of new distribution platforms, Nigel Stoddart indicated that "Tedial is helping to monetize content with new technologies, either by reusing the content or broadcasting to the second or more screens. Our MAM systems can generate different formats for multi-screen broadcasting, and package them for new platforms."
In the last version of NAB, Tedial was recognized for developing one of the best automation and control systems. The recognition was presented by the IABM Association.
