NAB. A record number of attendees was the 2015 edition of NAB Show, with a registered attendance of 103,042 people. The exhibition featured 1,789 companies covering 1,015,000 net square feet of exhibition space.
"This year, the NAB Show once again demonstrates the power and global reach of the NAB Show brand. We are proud to host the world's premier media technology event," said Dennis Wharton, NAB Executive Vice President of Communications.
Some numbers of the fair in 2015:
- Total registered attendees: 103,042
- International attendees: 26,489
- Countries represented: 164
- Media representatives: 1614
These numbers become more important when compared to the final attendance of NAB Show 2014, which was 97,915, with 26,367 international attendees. The total exhibition space was 947,000 net square feet.
Another novelty presented by the fair in 2015 was the launch of a version of NAB in Shanghai, in partnership with the National Base of International Trade-International High Tech Cluster Cultural Device, TCDIC, which will be held on December 3 and 4 at the Shangri-la Kerry Hotel, Pudong, Shanghai, China.
