Colombia. The National Television Board of the National Television Authority, ANTV, is in the process of selecting who will be its new director. To do this, it published the resumes of the three candidates it is analyzing. We present their profiles:
Carlos Hernán Caicedo Escobar holds a PhD in Management Sciences from the Université Sorbonne de Paris, a Master's Degree in Administration from the National University of Colombia, a Specialist in technological management from the Universidad Pontificia Javeriana and has undergraduate degrees such as Business Administrator and Metallurgical Engineer.
He has an extensive academic career. He currently serves as associate professor and coordinator of the Interfaculty Master's Degree in Communication and Media of the National University, director of the UN Radio station, member of the scientific committee of the journal Electronic Vision, among other academic efforts in the health and engineering sectors. Isabel Cristina De Ávila Benítez holds a Master's Degree in Economic Law, a Specialist in Telecommunications Law, tax law and administrative and legal law, all studied at the Externado de Colombia University.
His work experience includes consulting in different entities, such as the presidency of the Telecommunications Company of Bogotá, the ICT Ministry, the High Council for Political Affairs of the Presidency of Colombia, the Superintendence of Domestic Public Services and the Congress of the Republic, among others. Juan Manuel Restrepo Cuartas studied a Postdoctorate from the Department of Philosophy of the University of Montreal, Doctor of Philosophy from the National University of Distance Education of Madrid, Master in Hispano-American Linguistics from the Caro y Cuervo Institute.
His professional career has been dedicated to academia, as a professor at universities in Colombia and South Korea, Director of the Department of Philosophy of the Universidad del Valle, Academic Coordinator of the doctorate in humanities of the Eafit University, Director of several research groups in philosophy, hermeneutics and femininity.
