Mexico. Sony of Mexico announced for the first time in the country and in Latin America the 4K lineup of audiovisual production that will be used for the recording, editing and transmission of the 64 football matches that will take place in the 12 stadiums of the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014.
For the first time, fans of the 2014 World Cup will be able to follow the event through the internet with Smart TVs, computers and mobile devices and in 4K, since television stations with local and international reach will have coverage with this technology and will transmit it through the network or even on giant screens that will be installed in the city of Rio de Janeiro.

Live 4K camera system
The PMW-F55 CineAlta 4K camera is ideal not only for movies, but for 4K live shooting, thanks to the 4K CMOS image sensor with Super 35mm and the CA-4000 adapter that allows you to transmit this content live. Through the -4000 BPU band processor unit, it digitally and in real time processes 4K recordings and simultaneously converts them into HD images.
Multiformat Switcher MVS-8000X
MVS-8000X is Sony's flagship switcher, whose processor has the capacity for 3D video mixes and an image transmission rate of 3Gbps (1080/60p). With the corresponding software updates and the MKS-8460X 4K converter board, it provides high-performance support to HD and 4K.
4K LCD Monitor
The 30-inch PVM-X300 4K model incorporates the unique TRIMASTER™ technology architecture for monitoring, camera control, program preview and editing during the filming of 4K productions in real time. In addition, a 4K SxS player can be added to read the memory cards of the PMW-F55 camera.
SRMASTER Storage Unit
The new generation SR-R1000 storage system supports both multi-camera recordings and up to 4 SR Memory Cards. It allows you to manage 2D, 3D, 1080p and 4K, all in a single unit, for professional audiovisual creativity without limits.
Multi-port storage unit
The PWS-4400 AV drive is very useful for both storing 4K (up to 5 hours) and HD productions, with up to four 4K channels for 4K XAVC video files. With a touch panel and through management software such as PWA-TS1 Telestrator and PWA-4KS 4K Stitching, it provides a simple and friendly interface to incorporate graphics and information such as score, name and history of players and teams, assemble the panoramic image of the stadium or play scenes in slow motion with extraordinary quality.
