This database, created by the National Television Authority, became operational to complete its consultation stage, in which it is sought to adjust it to create and implement a tool that allows harmonizing information on the television sector in Colombia.

The ROT, which applies to all television operators in Colombia, has been in the process of being completed since August 25, 2012. In a first stage of transition, operators can send the information directly to the ANTV for incorporation into the system. Once activated, interested parties can register, update and consult the data directly on the page of the entity.
The ANTV indicated that this is an important management that was in debt for the country, since regulating and updating a database with the operators of the television service in Colombia facilitates the efficient development of their functions, and constitutes a means of consultation available to the sector, users and the general public.
