Argentina. Addressing issues about the present and future of the cable television industry that lead it to new horizons: consumers, developments of new generation networks and regulations, a new version of International Conferences will be held this week.
For the 2012 version, which will take place between September 26 and 28 at the Hilton Buenos Aires hotel, it will feature several conference sessions and a commercial exhibition, both scenarios that will help understand where this changing industry is headed.
In one of the academic rooms will be the VII Meeting of broadband and cable modem, in which attendees will understand why broadband is a factor of cultural integration, liberator of energy, vector of the economy and decisive factor in education.
In addition, during the second day the academic programming will be focused on the new regulations of the sector. And this issue is of vital importance considering that in each of the countries of Latin America the regulations are very different, but they are crucial for investments in new developments.
In parallel there will be another room with the conferences that will have as their main focus the relationship of fiber with the home, through technical talks. They will address topics such as the evolution of TV over IP in the cable industry, HFC and RFoG networks and fiber optic architectures.
