Argentina. Between October 26 and 28, the twentieth edition of Caper 2011will be held in Buenos Aires, the exhibition on professional equipment and services for television, cable, cinema, satellite and multimedia, and which convenes more than 6,000 managers, professionals, technicians and students related to this medium every year.
In the space where about 92 renowned exhibiting companies of the industry will meet, the event also has a space that offers seminars, conferences and workshops.
The first day of the technical-academic program will be dedicated to the theme of Digital Television. The day will begin at 13:30 (local time), after the Opening Ceremony, which will be chaired by authorities of the Chamber and by Mr. Osvaldo Nemirovsci, General Coordinator of the Advisory Council of Digital TV.
Among the conference program also stands out the so-called "Visual Effects: Solutions to tell stories" which will be in charge of the visual effects supervisor of "The Secret of his Eyes", Rodrigo Tomasso. This presentation will address some of the current creative uses of VFX to provide solutions to producers and directors.
Likewise, the General Directorate of Creative Industries and Foreign Trade, Audiovisual Option, of the Government of Buenos Aires, will present the new City Law that creates the Audiovisual District and the effects of this law on the sector. On the other hand, the data of the survey carried out in the animation sector in the Argentine capital will be presented.
