Colombia. Sencore announced a new partnership and distribution agreement with the Daga Group to distribute the entire line of signal quality and video transmission solutions in that country, including the 3187B receiver decoder, the SMD 989 DVB-S/S2 modulator and the TXS 3453 transcoder.
"The Colombian audiovisual industry has grown rapidly and dynamically with service providers such as direct-to-home, IPTV and also, local broadcasters are rapidly moving to digital broadcasts. Sencore supports this transition with a portfolio of products for these processes," said Daniel Amaya, director of the broadcast division of the Daga Group.
"Sencore remains focused on expanding its presence in Latin America, and Colombia is a key market in this region, where we need a competent partner who knows the country," said Tony Oehlerking, general manager of international business development at Sencore.
