Latin America. Through the specific Post NAB courses, Sony Professional Solutions Latin America seeks to guide its customers in the region on the new technologies developed in the most recent film and television production and post-production equipment.
Among the innovations, the company highlights OLED technology, ideal for those applications that require good performance and visual accuracy, since it offers a combination of HD features for image reproduction, chromatic accuracy, reliability and stability.
As reported to TV Y VIDEO, Andy Nelles, senior marketing manager of Sony, "the company is promoting the development of products for emerging countries whose needs are different from those of the large American networks. These sections in the nations of Latin America not only allow us to directly present the equipment to our customers but also bring us closer to their needs, so we can know the reactions, concerns and type of products they need."
Additionally, Latin American TV production has shown an increase in the consumption of these equipment in the last three years, because almost all countries already have high-definition television and are moving from analog to digital. The market has opened up in this sense, the purchase of HD equipment in the different ranges is skyrocketing and we are attacking all those needs of our customers, "said Nelles.
These courses, which have already been presented in Chile, Bolivia and this July 7 in Panama, will be held in the other nations and fairs of the region between July and October 2011.
