. At the Madame Tussauds Museum in London, Bridge Technologies' microVB system was recognized with the IP&TV award for the best in the industry in the categories of Best Quality Improvement for IP and Hybrid or Connected TV. The event was chaired by cable and telecommunications experts from leading service providers around the world.
This system represents a breakthrough in remote control and analysis for IPTV and digital media applications. In the installation between the receiver and the television, the microVB automatically locates a server in the operator's network initiating the sending of data to perform the deep inspection of the packets.
K. Frostad Simen, President of Bridge Technologies, said: "This award recognizes a real breakthrough for the digital media industry. Before the microVB was launched, operators had no way to easily obtain the information required to locate intermittent failures that affect the quality of service offered to subscribers and their customer network."
