Poland. GlobeCast will provide polish-language broadcasts and media workflows for four of BBC Worldwide's channels.
This new partnership includes secure storage, subtitling, graphics, coding, encryption and Polish broadcasting of the BBC Knoeledge, BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle and Cbeebies versions as it has done for the past three years in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia.
In addition, BBC Worldwide will not only benefit from GlobeCast's end-to-end fibre and satellite delivery networks, but will also benefit from its "digital ecosystem", created for content preparation and expansion to other regions, reducing costs and time to launch new services.
BBC Worldwide is one of the first customers to take advantage of the next generation of GlobeCast's media management platform, a fusion of GlobeCast's active media management (MAM) and workflow technologies, including the SUBSIDIARY's CMS NETIA and IT broadcast systems.
