The memory capacity, the compatibility with different versions of browsers, the support of graphics of different formats such as GIF or JPG and pages of different language such as HTML, the video and audio card, etc., are elements of applications that all devices have and make the difference between one and the other. • Sony W150: used for classic ITV services, it has 8MB RAM, 2MB ROM and 4MB Flash, 150 MHz processor and 56Kbps speed. It allows access to the Internet from any TV, has PIP system, compatible with standard telephone lines, allows you to save favorite content by folders, control access to content, on-screen menu, has a Slot smart card, printer port and has capacity for 6 e-mails. Optional keyboard.
• Sony W250: used for improved ITV services, it has 16MB RAM, 8MB ROM and 2MB Flash, 167 MHz processor and 56Kbps speed. In addition to the above features, it allows you to participate in interactive programs and create lists of contents by days, compatible with VCR's for recording, tune in to MTS stereo, allow e-mail with audio and video and automatically update its software.
• Surfview: Motorola CFT300 analog unit integrated with WorldGate's Internet on Every TV software, integrated ASIC design with SIGA graphics, 56 MIPS (850 Mhz) speed processor, and access to 128 Kbps, has Ultra-Thin Client architecture patented by WorldGate Communications, which establishes direct communication with the headend and converters facilitating the control and administration of software without the need to download it to the unit; and allows services that require additional software such as PPV and EPG, video masking and access control by algorithms, OSD off mode and automatic channel tuning, projects to 640x480 pixels, supports external modems, has interface in different languages and supports NTSC and PAL formats. It has a wireless keyboard and optional printer port. No memory upgrade required.
• RCA model RW2110: it has 167 Mhz R5230 RISC processor, 16MB RAM, 8 MB ROM and 8 MB flash. Equipped with a 56 Kbps modem that supports telephone connection via RJ-11, it automatically updates the required software , has RF outputs and allows the display of free-to-air and cable TV content. It has a printer port, Slot card, super video output, dual audio channel, dual IR controller and microphone output.
