Latin America. José Luis Reyes assumed overall responsibility for all aspects of Grass Valley's business in the South Latam region, including engaging with major customers, developing new markets and managing the company's network of distributors and system integrators, following his recent appointment as Regional Sales Manager for the region.
The announcement was made by Rafael Castillo, Senior Vice President of Sales at Latam, who said, "Grass Valley is pleased to welcome José as the newest member of our growing Latam sales team. He has sales experience with several leading technology companies in both the United States and Venezuela, as well as a solid technical knowledge of the different product lines."
Reyes joins Grass Valley from Video Solutions International, where he spent six years as Vice President of Sales and Operations. His duties included general support and maintenance of a large sales force, as well as the creation and supervision of a distribution network for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Prior to assuming this role, Reyes spent the previous two years as the company's Outreach Manager. Prior to his time at Video Solutions International, Reyes served two years as Project Manager for electrical appliances, where he worked on brand channel development.

Reyes holds several certificates in technical and sales management organizations in both the United States and Venezuela, including a first degree sales force CRM management.
