Paraguay. The Paraguayan Communications Company (Copaco) announced the appointment of engineer Luis Alberto Cardozo as president of the institution.
Cardozo is recognized for his experience in the field of telecommunications with nearly 20 years of experience and until recently held the position of technical manager in the company Hola Paraguay SA.
Likewise, the members of the entity's board of directors were assigned.
As reported by Copaco, the board was composed as follows: president, Luis Alberto Cardozo; directors Julio Ernesto Giménez, Francisco Javier Galiano and Carlos Rubén Guggiari.
The new appointments came at a vital time, when the company is beginning marketing IPTV packages in the country.
In fact, Cardozo told local media that he is working to comply with the nearly 2,000 requests for connection to the IPTV service that they have pending.
