United States. Spanish Broadcasting System Inc. (SBS), which owns media, has appointed Albert Rodriguez as its new Consolidated Operations Principal Revenue Officer, who will oversee earnings from the company's operations, including radio, television and interactive media.
The announcement was made by Raul Alarcon Jr., executive chairman and chairman of the SBS Board of Directors, who called it "well deserved, due to his contributions to SBS over the past 12 years. Albert not only executes credible and ambitious revenue plans, the most important thing is that he meets the goals" and added that Rodriguez is admired, respected and appreciated in the industry.
For his part, Rodríguez said that he is proud to be part of SBS and that "the important goal is to consolidate and develop the media platforms we offer to the Spanish-speaking audience and advertisers."
Since October 2010, Albert Rodríguez, served as Principal Revenue Officer of the television division and as General Manager of the television station and previously since January 2010, he served in this same position in the television station for the Miami market.
