Video equipment manufacturing company Grass Valley announced the appointment of a new executive group based in San Francisco, California, headed by Alain Andreoli as president and CEO, as well as Jeff Rosica in the role of executive vice president and chief marketing officer, and Ian Halifax as CFO.
"It's an exciting time to take the reins of Grass Valley. Our team has ambitious plans for the company and I look forward to helping the group successfully complete them," said Andreoli, who served in management positions at other companies, such as Sun Microsystems Europe, Xiotech, McData, Verio, among others.
For its part, Rosica will be in charge of all customer-related activities as well as the company's marketing functions. "I look forward to working with Alain and the other team members, as well as strengthening contact with our clientele around the world who will be offered higher levels of innovation," he added.
Ian Halifax, in addition to his role as CFO, will also serve as Executive Vice President and will be responsible for finance and accounting, as well as Human Resources and Legal Department, thanks to his experience in renowned technology companies, such as Sun Microsystems, Micromuse and Macrovision.
