TEPAL, Organization of Associations and Paid Television Companies of Ibero-America, is located in Panama City, Republic of Panama. Groups 14 companies and 7 pay-TV associations from 14 countries. Its statutes require member companies and associations to be operators of paid television and that in turn pay for the rights of the programming that transmit and/or retransmit in the systems they operate, thus respecting the rights of the rightful owners.
TEPAL assists its member companies, programmers and suppliers of equipment and services in order to improve the quality of services offered to pay TV users in America Latin. In addition, TEPAL, organizes an annual convention, which allows its participants to initiate close relationships, renew and expand your business ties. Its conventions consist of conferences and forums on relevant pay-TV industry topics in Latin America and satellite channel exhibition areas, of products and services related to the television industry paid and broadband multimedia services.
