Large investments in television infrastructure by Churches and Christian ministries led Pro Broadcast Solutions to serve this market that, like all, has specific characteristics.

The accumulated experience of several experts in integration of video and audio projects allowed Omar de la Cruz, César Hurtado and others to detect various market opportunities to found Pro Broadcast Solutions (PBS), a Miami-based solutions company that serves the local market and offers solutions for all of America Latin.

One of the main opportunities detected are that of the church market and Christian ministries, a sector that is all over the world investing large sums in television infrastructure. There PBS has become strong and intends to expand to broadcast its experience to other latitudes and markets.

We have allocated a part of our team to the development and professional advice to the churches and Christian groups that have projects of communications and audiovisual management affirms Omar de la Cruz, general manager of the company. Our first goal is to provide these ministries with the right counseling, the computers they should start with or use. Us we are primarily based on the type of project and work with the budget that the ministry has at that time.

But PBS also serves another type of customer: small and medium-sized enterprises, producers, TV channels, and their staff is aware of the new technologies such as internet television, which will affect audiovisual consumption models in all levels of society. How was Pro Broadcast born? Solutions? How long ago?
Seeing the drastic change that is happening in the television market and after working with several of the most recognized companies in the distribution of equipment for broadcasting, we saw the need to integrate a company that not only was in charge of making the sale of equipment with advice, but also to provide integral solutions in which our customers will be satisfied by the service given in the time to close the sale, and also in the integration and advice after it. That's how Pro Broadcast started Solutions in September 2006, with the participation of several recognized agents in the medium.

For Pro Broadcast Solutions, the most It is important to provide the customer with solutions ranging from the sale of a camera to the development of large projects magnitude, such as the complete installation of a television channel, a religious establishment, a production company, a studio of recording, etc.

What markets does your enterprise?
Our market is very diverse and we have the ability to attend from the client who wants to start his little producer to cover weddings and family events, up to channels television, radio stations, Christian ministries and churches that require recording their services, either for the distribution of messages or those that require large productions to broadcast live on your television or recording educational programs in the field religious, design and integration of studios for television and facilities.

What led you to attend the market of temples and churches?
Due to the great incidence that the Christian churches in the world of communications, the demand for the purchase of broadcast equipment has skyrocketed. But the situation that must be observed and taken into account is the type of client that are the churches: communities that manage limited budgets, which in turn demand special attention. At this time, few companies can provide a service to churches thinking about the demands that these ministries require and give them the right solutions so that their Ministries are effectively projected towards the community.

For this reason, our company has dedicated a specialized staff to work exclusively with the churches and in this way it can lend a adequate service.

Is there a difference fundamental in the attention of these clients with respect to other corporate clients?
The fundamental difference between corporate clients and the religious milieu is that in this field it is not a question of doing production or television to receive a commercial profit, to difference from corporate media that base their inputs on commercials and sponsors of broadcast programs. The religious milieu receives its income from donations from the members of congregations, income to be managed with great care, and the equipment that is need according to the needs of the church and in the that should be advised so as not to make a mistake when buying the equipment and that money can be lost by not having the knowledge necessary at the time of purchase. Knowing that there are companies who do not provide this service and who are only interested in sell the boxes without giving solutions and without thinking if the customer you are receiving the appropriate equipment for your needs, it is where we enter to be an important part of the market of television.

Do you think in America Latina there is an important market in temples, churches and religious channels?
We believe that not only in the Latin American market but all over the world religious establishments are a a very important part of the television medium. Previously it was more important in the radial part and in the audio installations, already than only in the United States 80% of the installations Audio commercials are in churches.
