Verite distributes Apple

Verite's new unit, Apple Professional Video Division, seeks to improve broadcast and post-production customer support, guide you through your Apple product purchases, and provide technical support.

Apple Professional Video named Verite Group as Value Added Distributor for Latin America with the exception of Mexico, Chile and Venezuela. Néstor Schpaliansky, former sales manager of Pinnacle Systems for Latin America, is the manager of this new business module of Verite.

What is the mission of Verite Group's Apple Professional Video Division?

--Apple Professional Video Division is in charge of nuclear the most successful resellers of the professional video market in Latin America to improve the customer service of broadcast and post-production, guide you in your purchases of Apple products and provide technical support attending to the specific "urgency" of this group of people.

What does Verite Group bring to the professional video market through the sale of Apple products?

--Verite Group has the financial and economic power to guarantee inventories to resellers, has the knowledge of broadcast and post-production needs in Latin America, the ability to educate the reseller and its customers in an appropriate way to use Apple products, and marketing strategies aimed at significantly increasing sales of Apple products in this segment.

Given Verite Group's division strategy, why does Apple Professional Division continue to be an internal division of the group, rather than an independent company?

--The strategic decision of the opening of these modules or companies is based mainly on the premises of focus, specialization and excellence, supported by focused management and team specialized in meeting the specific needs of each different group of clients. Apple Professional Division is in the process of achieving its identity within the group. Once that goal is achieved, it is very likely that it will become an independent division.

What is Apple's reaction to its strategies?

--Based on what we periodically discussed with their managers and managers, we noticed total support for our strategies. As it is already part of our philosophy, we share with them every step we take. We are honored to have Apple's trust.

What is the business strategy you are implementing?

--We have three sales groups: Verite Broadcast, which serves resellers exclusively; Verite Broadcast Solutions, which serves the design and implementation of television projects, and a very select group of local resellers or distributors whom we are identifying, qualifying, naming, training and directing, throughout the territory of Latin America and the Caribbean. This group of certified resellers will be part of Apple's website for Professional Video along with us so that our market segment has a very clear idea of where you should and can buy your Apple products when implementing your budgets and production, post-production and broadcast strategies.

Could you describe the type of marketing support they are providing and the benefit to end customers?

"Of course. We have advertising spaces and guidelines in the best and most important magazines in Latin America and the Caribbean; we have a presence in all regional events, including Caper in Argentina, Broadcast & Cable in Brazil, Telemundo in Mexico and Andina Link in Central America, in addition to other smaller but important fairs so that our customers know and feel our full support. We conduct webcasts where we train our sales channels on a regular basis. We provide online training for Apple Professional Video products. We offer low-cost demonstration equipment to support territorial sales and have our own demonstration equipment to accompany this strategy. We represent the voice of the professional video sales channel to improve and optimize what Apple offers in this market. We have taken the exclusive and non-exclusive distribution of complementary products to Apple that allow to close the broadcast client cycle. These products allow you to define workflows of ingestion, editing and reproduction in professional quality, as demanded today by the professional television market. And, of course, we have competitive prices to encourage local resellers to join our project as soon as possible.
