Between April 24 and 27, a new version of NAB Show was held, a fair about which there was great expectation due to how much participation it could have after the pandemic. In the end, the result surprised everyone, since 52,000 visitors toured three pavilions of the Las Vegas Convention Center and its nearly 1,200 exhibitors.
The exhibitors with whom TVyVideo+Radio had the opportunity to speak during the fair, assured that, although there were fewer attendees than in previous years, the presence of Latinos was notorious and most arrived with projects, specific needs and investment plans for their media.
During the first months of the pandemic, the remote operation of radio and television was key to having the media on the air. Therefore, in this NAB Show many manufacturers focused on presenting and deepening their cloud-based solutions, which favor that collaborative and remote work.
Without a doubt, this was a bet that went well and generates a great impulse for the recovery of the industry and the return of face-to-face fairs. Now, the industry will gather at Fairs in Latin America, such as TecnoTelevisión in Mexico in August and in Colombia in October.
