The modern buildings of Bancolombia and Engineering of the Eafit University, are added to the guided tours that TecnoMultimedia 2010 will carry out on November 3.
The first 20 people who send their proof of payment will have the possibility to choose which building they want to attend and know the signaling, videoconferencing and telepresence systems.
Signage and information
The Bancolombia building, inaugurated in January 2009, is one of the most representative of green construction in Medellín. It consists of a constructed area of 135,379 m2, where 4,200 employees are housed in an occupied space of 9,800 square meters, there are distributed information and signage screens that present timely data on the events of the Bancolombia Group and the financial sector.
These screens are installed in spaces where the internal and external public concludes. TecnoMultimedia participants will not only learn how they work and their importance within the organization, but will also make a visit throughout the building.
Telepresence and videoconferencing
The Eafit Engineering Building, inaugurated in August 2010, has five floors configured as workspaces equipped with the latest technology to support learning processes.
Within them are, on the fifth floor, the videoconference room and the telepresence room, which will be visited by the attendees of the event by the hand of one of the teachers of the School of Engineering. This visit will present the management of these systems, their application in the environment and how they help the educational, multidisciplinary and practical scheme of the University.
