It combines a compact 2U, 24-disk design with the power of 8Gb/s Fibre Channel and 6Gb/s SAS hardware technology to deliver a solution in editing, color grading, VFX and streaming requirements.
Optimized to meet the demands of 4k cinema productions, the DS240 provides a total of eight 8Gb/s Fibre Channel ports, resulting in performance above 3,500MB from a simple storage array.
By leveraging Enterprise 10K SAS hard drives, this product offers a lower cost per terabyte; it is available in capacities ranging from 19TB to 38TB, expandable up to 190TB using the DS240 SAS JBOD enclosures.
