The new Shinobi 7 is a bigger, brighter screen and takes the foundation of the original Shinobi to the next level. With a calibrated maximum brightness of 2200 Nits, it can be used in the brightest environments without the need for a sunshade or for converting log entries for HDR monitoring. It also has several configuration options, which provides an ideal director monitor or focus extractor, program or preview screen for video switches and the perfect view for vloggers presenting to the camera.
In turn, it is designed to give you quick access to the most important functions of the camera. The new Atomos Shinobi has white balance, shutter angle and ND. The additional USB and RJ45 control ports on the Shinobi 7 also provide support for future developments, as more options for touchscreen camera control are added.
The Shinobi 7 display displays more than 10 stops of real-time dynamic range from Log/PQ/HLG signals. Combined with our unique HDR monitoring features, the Shinobi 7 simplifies the complexities of recording Log and HDR.
In addition to registration to HDR conversions, you can also use your own custom 3D LUT to power other devices or live. Upload up to eight custom LUTs at any time through the SD card slot and instantly select from them, keeping creative intent at all times.
Dual battery slots allow you to easily change batteries hot during filming and never get stuck without power, as the combined double slots allow you to run around all day. The locking DC plug input allows you to connect to the mains power on the TV and can also be used with the optional DC to D-TAP cable for field power with V-lock batteries
