The new ViBE VS7000 video system is an integrated IP solution for converged applications such as Web TV and Over-The-Top (OTT) services as well as for traditional IPTV.
This product combines audio and video codecs, the latest streaming formats, and a video operating system that runs on flexible IT platforms for native scalability and redundancy. It also encompasses Thomson's next-generation compression platform for exceptional image quality in IP environments.
The ViBE VS7000 supports most codecs and formats including MPEG streams, Adobe® Flash, Apple® http Live Streaming and Microsoft® Smooth® Streaming; In addition, with its video resolution over 1920x1080 in progressive and interlaced mode, the product is scalable for input channels and output profiles, with support for multiple outputs per channel.
