Portable HDMI encoder with Wi-Fi
The Cube-220 is a compact encoder capable of monitoring video in studio as well as in large-scale film production, eliminating complexity in handling VTR platforms and anchoring cameras for long dolly movements, as well as for the transmission of footage.
Its input resolution is 1080p/PsF, 1080i and 720p, and it is capable of reducing the output resolution up to 480p thanks to a built-in scaler or improving it to Blu-ray quality with video compression of H.264 High Profile Level 4.1 at a bit rate of between 250Kbps up to 10Mbps, and integrating the AAC-LC and MPEG Layer 2 audio compression standards, handling a latency of 1/8-1/2 second.
The Cube-220 can be configured in various mounts such as the rail system, cage, hotshoe or camera plate and is compatible with handheld cameras such as Arri Alexa, Panavision Genesis, Canon 5Dii, Canon 7D, among others, since it has a weight of only 190 grams and a size of 63.5 x 88.9 x 22.8 mm, consuming only 2.5W of electricity.
In addition, it offers direct streaming to set-top box devices such as laptops or iPad through its network mode, eliminating the need for other transmitting equipment, thanks to its Wi-Fi connectivity with support for TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, NTP, SSL, IGMP protocols.
