The XF605 professional camcorder distributed by Merlin Distributor is the next-generation XF series camera that offers excellent mobility, connectivity and 4K UHD HDR image quality. Equipped with Canon's Dual Pixel CMOS AF, the XF605 achieves high-speed, high-precision focus and is the first model in the XF series to include eye-sensing AF, as well as iTR AF X technology for enhanced face and head detection for greater accuracy and stable subject tracking.
It also features 1" CMOS sensor, 4:2:2 10-bit, H.265/H.264 MP4 format, XF-AVC, 4K UHD up to 60fps, 1080p at 120fps, iOS app, 15x/30x digital optical zoom. It also has dual function of pixel CMOS autofocus and HDR recording, Canon Log 3, Wide DR.
On the other hand, it has 12G-SDI and HDMI outputs, optical and digital stabilization. It also has four XLR inputs, 4-channel LPCM audio and discrete focus, iris and zoom lens rings. In the case of the zoom, canon markets this as a complement to the existing high-performance UHD-DIGISUPER 51 case lens (15.5 - 790 mm) and the portable 7 × 10.7 KAS S (10.7 - 75 mm) zoom lens, both capable of providing 8K resolution for the 2/3" sensor.
This offers a fast aperture of f/2.8 over the entire zoom range and is equipped with an 11-blade diaphragm. The closest focusing distance is specified as 0.9 m (from the front element).
