The former head of xbox entertainment, Don Mattrick, has confirmed his incorporation to the team of the developer Zynga. Specifically, Mattrick will hold the position of CEO at the company, supported by Zynga President Mark Pincus.
On Monday, the Blog AllThingsD assured that predictably the head of entertainment of Microsoft, Don Mattrick, would join in the coming days the team of the developer Zynga after abondonar the American company. According to the blog of the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal, Mattrick would assume the position of CEO of Zynga, "working in a close partnership with its founder and current CEO Mark Pincus."
Hours after this information, Zynga has published on the official blog the letter from Don Mattrick addressing his new team, thus confirming his incorporation into the company.
Mattrick says his decision to join the developer came given the team's talent. "I joined Zynga because I believe the vision and mission of connecting with the world through Mark's (Pincus) pioneering games is just the beginning. When Mark called me to come here, I was blown away by the creativity, unity and clarity with which he sees the future of gaming and entertainment as a basic consumer experience."
"They have all the ingredients of becoming a successful service and we have the opportunity to create lasting relationships with our customers through our high-quality products," mattrick concludes.
