MADRID, 1 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) -
Jazztel has surpassed one million ADSL customers and expects to attract more than 50,000 in the third quarter of 2011, compared to 46,860 in the same period last year, the company informed the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) on Thursday.
"The surpassing of one million ADSL customers represents a milestone in the evolution of the company's business," said the telecommunications service provider.
Due to the evolution of ADSL's customer acquisition figures, which has practically already reached the minimum threshold of acquisition for this year established in the 2011-2012 business plan, whose range established the figure of between 1.03 and 1.05 million customers, the company confirmed its forecasts of reaching the commitments established in said plan.
"We are pleased to have reached this milestone of one million ADSL customers at this time, and this achievement gives us wings to be able to fulfill the 2011-2012 business plan, because we do not doubt that sooner or later these advances will be reflected in the quotation and will create value for shareholders," said the CEO of Jazztel, José Miguel García.
