Petrol Bags, a brand of the Vitec Group, presented the Cambio convertible equipment, which fulfills the double function of suitcase and camera support system. The suitcase, which has wheels for easy transport, is transformed into a lightweight support system for video cameras.
The product has a wide U-shaped opening that allows quick and easy access to the equipment. Inside, the main compartment is a space to accommodate the camera, a tripod head and accessories. It has twin grip straps and clips that secure the front flap in an open position when the camera is stored or removed or when the suitcase becomes a support system.
Inside the suitcase is a central column of nickel-plated steel that expands up to 142 centimeters. The column supports cameras up to 4.5 kilos, which allows the use of DSLR video cameras, as well as HD DV models. The suitcase is equipped with a frame and a central support cart with integral handle and camera platform with 75mm round head adapter. A lightweight micro-fluid head allows for quick assembly and conventional panning and tilting movements.
