The company announced the appointment of Steve DeFrancesco as the new general manager. He will report directly to Glenn Pennycook, president of the Enterprise Solutions Division of Belden Americas, which recently completed the acquisition of Telecast Fiber Systems.
DeFrancesco has 20 years of commercial and operations experience in the electronics and software industries. He joined Belden's business development unit three years ago and most recently served as director of sales and marketing for Belden's Thermax. He previously held various management positions in operations and marketing for software companies and was a principal consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
