Harris Corporation and Echolab reached an agreement that expands Harris' portfolio of solutions by naming Harris as the exclusive distributor of Echolab's Atem family of switchers.
At NAB, Harris showed off Atem switchers that include an interface to Harris' new graphics system, Inscriber TitleOne XT. The tight integration between the Inscriber system and the Atem switchers will allow users to produce professional graphics and digital effects, incorporating them perfectly into their productions.
Three Atem models were presented at the fair, the basic one introduced at NAB 2009 with 3 Gb/s 1080p (50 and 59.94), 1-M/E (Mix/Effects); the expanded AtemEX version offering 18 inputs, 10 outputs and two 10-window multivisors for production monitoring; and the new Atem2, which offers multi-M/E capabilities and an advanced two-channel 3D DVE.
