Wohler Technologies announced enhancements to its AMP1-16-3G and AMP2-16 audio monitors, including new features and menu options that bring greater convenience and functionality for multi-channel tracking.
Additions include improved access to audio levels and settings, new live mixing capabilities for the AMP2-16 series, and more powerful monitoring and control features.
The monitors feature redundant power supplies and a new Free Mix mode. The AMP2-16 series is now fully connected to streaming and relies less on traditional audio consoles.
When equipped with AES or analog output cards, this monitor's Free Mix mode supports mixing and output of any combination of channels. Through intuitive menu settings, users can easily control levels, mix multiple input channels with output channels, and set control options on the front panel.
These mixes can be performed independently of the audio control functions, while the audio measurement and monitoring functions can be used to control the result of the mix. These two monitors offer 16 channels of 3Gbps/HD/SD-SDI and AES audio monitoring, the latter with Dolby E and Dolby D support.
