Chyron continues to promote AXIS, its on-demand graphics production model. AXIS client software supports the creation, composition and distribution of graphic content via the Internet and operating within a completely resolution-independent model, so that its users can generate final parts for broadcasting, press, mobile devices or the web – all this from an efficient template system that operates on an interface completely open web.
AXIS integrates directly with FORscene, a cloud-based remote video editing service that, in addition to facilitating the integration of video clips into AXIS-finished pieces, makes it possible to implement collaborative workflows over the Internet.
Additionally, Chyron announced the launch of several products that support graphics creation and insertion operations for stereoscopic 3D applications. Channel Box is essentially a branding system for multiplexed stereoscopic flows, which allows real-time insertion of 3D graphic elements without affecting the perspective of the original material. Traditional Chyron products have also begun to appear in 3D versions, with the advantage that it is possible to migrate existing templates to 3D versions with relative ease.
Chyron completes its look at the 3D world by improving its integration with modeling and animation platforms such as Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya and Cinema 4D.
