Fast Forward Video introduced its new digital video recorder, Micron HD, which allows you to record and play back videos in SD and HD. This new tool offers several of the features of the Omega HD recorder in a single unit designed to serve today's TV operations that demand a tighter budget.
This recorder uses high-quality JPEG2000 compression at speeds greater than 100 Mbit/sec, making it an ideal replacement for SD-exclusive digital recorders as well as analog tapes. Micron HD offers more than five hours of recording time and its SATA removable drive is fully compatible with Fast Forward Video's Elite HD camera. With a simple controller, users can access an extensive menu of functions and direct multiple units with a single key.
