The company introduced new product extensions designed to improve the way operators can access, reuse, share and troubleshoot different types of audio and video content. The Producer Module, an option for the Observer, allows broadcasters to capture and reuse content in a variety of formats for external use.
Volicon also showcased its new Reconciliation Report Module, a module for creating comprehensive discrepancy reports, which reconciles information from various sources, such as logs, traffic schedules, and operator entry and exit information.
Version 5.0 of the Observer allows operators to obtain closed captions from CEA-708 video streams through the extraction of the stream data, which can then be easily exported using the system's content export module.
