The Vitec group, supplier of a wide range of equipment and services for the broadcasting, entertainment and photography, announced the acquisition of Nucomm Inc., a leading systems provider digital and analog microwaves for microwave industries broadcast, telecommunications, cable, government, military and the international market. Through this acquisition, the group Vitec further strengthens its product and service offering.
Established in 1990, Nucomm offers a complete line of portable and fixed systems of microwave links, which fit perfectly in the Vitec's diffusion systems division in the recently formed business unit of the company, Vitec Group RF Systems.
Vitec also announced the acquisition of RF Central, a leading manufacturer and supplier state-of-the-art microwave equipment for broadcasters throughout the United States.
