Alchemist Ph.C, an HD standards converter, produces images of great quality and clarity, so that the most dynamic signals are delivered in stunning detail, free of any artifact and virtually indistinguishable from the original HD content. The new Alchemist Ph.C converts 1080i and 720p and allows conversion of SD material of 50 and 60 Hz, conversion up, down and cross of HD.
Snell & Wilcox also showed a software for conversion of file-based standards, the Alchemist Ph.C-IP, for your platform Helios; the iCR, an automated workstation for repurposing; a new, smaller version of the Kahuna switcher SD/HD, and another version of the Kahuna switcher with new capabilities 3-D DVE.
