Harris Corporation will now endorse the MXF (Material Exchange Format) format in the products of your Broadcast Communications Division, through a kit for software development of the leader in MXF exchange, MOG Solutions. Harris purchased a group license for the MXFComponentSuite, by MOG Solutions, which it gives to many Harris products increased MXF compatibility across flows unified and optimized work. The first line of Harris products that will incorporate technology MXFComponentSuite, from MOG, is the family of video servers Nexio for high definition and standard definition (HD/SD).
The MXFComponentSuite is a set of MXF-enabled components that abstracts the application layer of format details and complexity MXF, using user-friendly programming interfaces. Allowing large transfers of images, audio, metadata and similar system files, this set of tools of MXF exchange will minimize file inconsistencies and offer to users of Harris Media's Nexio servers reliable and simple to handle MXF files in SD or HD.
