16x9 Inc. has the most convenient and effective way to get wider images with the Panasonic HVX200 camera: the 0.75X Wide Converter. Employing the 0.75X, up to 25% more than one wide shot can be achieved, without sacrificing zoom capability.
Made in Japan, the 16x9 Inc. 0.75X converter offers an advanced HD quality design, which employs four glass elements to reduce geometric distortion and improve off-axis performance, and in particular reduce chromatic and depth-of-field aberrations.
This lightweight (20 oz.) and compact (40 mm long) professional optical accessory is equipped with 82 mm rear screws, so that it can be easily connected to the front of the HVX200. Coupled with the original HVX200 lenses, the 0.75X converts the focal length from 4.2-55 mm to 3.15-41.25 mm. An 82-72mm reduction ring, which is included at no additional cost, allows you to work with Sony's HVR-Z1U camcorders , as well as Canon's XL-H1, XH-G1 and XH-A1.
