Just a few days after the successful launch of its line of new products in its version 11, the company Media 100 will present additional functionalities and improvements to the workflow with its new version, Media 100 v. 11.5. New developments provide performance improvements and support for tapeless workflows. Highlights of the 11.5 release include Firewire device support, P2 camera support, SDI audio support for Media 100 HDX hardware, and enhancements for integration with Boris Red, BorisFX, and Graffiti systems.
The new version 11 of the Media 100 product line, which has been out of order since June 2006, offers uncompressed 10-bit HD and SD editing capabilities, support for broadcast-quality format conversions, and enhanced leveraged system performance in solutions for Mac OS X and AJA Video OEM. Version 11 of the systems also represents the first step towards native integration with the Boris FX product line, achieving first-class composition and trauma-free technology effects within the same Media 100 interface.
