Slate 2100, the third in a Slate switcher family, from Broadcast Pix, joins the system Slate 100 contact screen (from $9,995) already unveiled at NAB 2006, and the Slate 1000 control panel (from US$18,795) based on the system shown at InfoComm last June.
For a value of $26,900, the Slate 2100 takes up all the features offered on the Slate 1000 switch, including a generator built-in character (CG), clip storages, and total motion monitoring; in addition, it adds features and functionalities that meet the most demanding needs of live TV apps.
Expanding beyond the that the Slate 1000 can offer, the 2100 provides video inputs 8-10 live, fail-safe switching, storage dual channel clips, a fourth keyer, tally and AES/EBU audio.
