DIVAprotect, a new option of THE DIVArchive, provides continuous monitoring of storage and performance devices of the media, in addition to preventing their degradation in anticipation of catastrophic data loss. This allows the user to predict and prevent storage failures by preventive replacement of media and drives storage. DIVAprotect foresees a new level of preservation of content security in DIVArchive.
DIVAgrid builds on existing, robust architecture and distributed from DIVArchive. Each DIVAgrid Actor contains up to 9 TB of RAID5 protected storage per node. Any how many DIVAgrid Actors can be added to the system DIVArchive, to virtually deliver a capacity equal to the sum of the individual storage capacities of each node. Each DIVAgrid Actor can also be optionally coupled with the content transcoding solution in-Path, from Front Porch Digital or, alternatively, with an engine automated content quality assurance DIVAnalyze, in order to truly achieve the concept of active storage.
