The new 64NE and 64XE routers, manufactured by Pesa, were designed to make their configurations cost-effective and meet the needs of broadcasters, studios and mobile production applications.
The Cheetah 64NE features a 64 x 64 matrix in a compact 4-RU and was intended for installations that require a reliable system, without the need for output options. The Cheetah 64XE was designed to allow industry professionals the flexibility to choose between output options or an output expansion up to 64 x 128, depending on individual needs.
The Cheetah 64NE and 64XE support data and video signals, HD-SDI, SDI, ASI, analog and AES/EBU, from 3 Mb/s to 1.5 Gb/s with reclocking in both SD (SMPTE 259 m) and HD-SDI (SMPTE 292 m). They also support EQ inputs of 300 m for SD and 100 m for HD-SDI. The two routers feature a bypass for each individual output, in order to support non-standard data signals.
Optional spaces for dual control, a controller frame for a dual array, and a redundant array can be obtained
WatchDog. Diagnostic software for Windows Viewport and SNMP support are standard. Pesa 3500PRO control software provides high levels of diagnostics and configuration capabilities typical of more expensive control systems.IBC 2005 Booth 2241
