During IBC, ARRI presented the latest generation of its LINE of LED lighting for film and television that includes focusable LED lamp heads based on a field with true light from Fresnel.
By combining the burning cold, energy efficiency advantages of LED lighting with the versatility of traditional Fresnel luminaires, ARRI created lamp head that now makes it possible to incorporate LED technology into the film industry.
In addition to a high-quality light field, the new focusable luminaires feature a light motor with wide spectral distribution that provides the same vivid and realistic color performance as conventional tungsten sources. Likewise, existing front-end accessories can still be used to make it much cheaper to add new accessories.
